Many people who are suffering from arthritis are turning to cannabidiol products to get relief from pain and other symptoms. Convinced with this reality, the Arthritis Foundation has published admonitions to help people have a superior grasp of CBD. As per the foundation, no research has been done on people who suffer from arthritis. Due to the upsurge in their popularity, the foundation wishes to cross-examine CBD supplements.

The Senior Director for Consumer Health at the Arthritis Foundation located in Atlanta is of the opinion that the patients do not need any more scientific evidence that proves the efficacy of CBD in providing relief to their medical conditions. Many have already resorted to using CBD. It is now the responsibility of the foundation to safeguard the interest of the people and lead them away from aggressive marketing tactics as well as inaccurate claims.

People With Arthritis Already Use CBD

Even without any studies to show that CBD works for arthritis, many people are already using CBD for arthritis treatment. A survey that was conducted by Californian researchers revealed that joint pain and chronic pain are two main conditions that make people use CBD. The next three conditions are depression, insomnia, and anxiety, and these conditions also affect people suffering from arthritis.

The Arthritis Foundation conducted an online survey among people with arthritis and found that 79% of the respondents had tried CBD or were planning to use it, mainly to get relief from pain, which is one of the most burdensome symptoms of arthritis. Almost 30% of the respondents replied that they are using CBD and three out of four claimed to get relief from CBD. These people reported that their morning sickness and physical function improved a lot and many said that CBD reduced depression and anxiety in them.

CBD Research Is Very Limited

The Arthritis Foundation understands that the guidelines are meant to be an endorsement of CBD for arthritis. The admonitions that are being published has been carefully written in order not to mislead anyone into believing that CBD is safe and effective or otherwise. Furthermore, the animal studies that were previously conducted suggest that CBD possesses pain-relieving traits together with anti-inflammatory properties. Nevertheless, these effects have not yet been substantiated on humans.

Still, the foundation wishes to help users find the best CBD products and hope that their guidelines can help people find the best CBD products for arthritis.
